Just dropped my washer fluid tank and fixed the leaking headlight washer pump. I decided buying a new one was a waste because it would just crack anyway, so i glopped some silicone on this one and it works great again

So to get to the washer fluid tank, I had to pull the LF and fender liner. In the process I saw this thing:


Any idea wtf that little servo/arm assembly is? I followed the wiring out of it but it goes into a big loom and then I lose it...Is that for the auto-leveling headlights? I think my car is a decepticon

 

yes that is for the autoleveling. if you ever go air, you can use the signal from that to know how high or low your car is

incidentally, i also noticed that one of my CV boots has a nice rip in it, gonna order a replacement today along with a new coolant temp sensor and some vac/boost check valves. Almost got this thing perfect! *knocks on wood*

 

Will you come do some maintenance on my car now? I'm so lazy, I think I'm just going to drive to the Bing one weekend and buy Jeremy a case of the ol' Ling and tell him to get to work. <3
