I can haz teh turboz?!
if you want to go to jiffy lube do it, they should have the same machine the dealership has to flush your system..... and they can put extended life coolant in there....
i used to manage a jiffy lube it is all about the management and employees
as for why i think uni is more expensive, is that you can upgrade their k03 to a bt tune with just a flash.... most other companies don't offer them and the ones that do, it is for a specific turbo or used to (apr and the disco) not sure if giac had a bt tune although they are known for their k04 tune right?
doesn't speed tunning have a bt tune as well?
if you are close to clint and want to go uni cause you will eventually go bt.... do that....

What does the inside of the tank look like? The cap doesn't have a steady flow running through it so a little gunk there isn't really indicative of what everything else looks like.
The Audi dealer I worked for would pull the cars around to the wash bays and use spicket water for a flush :/

inside of the tank where there's not normally coolant, the cap and top portions of the tank for example, is pretty gross, i posted pics a few posts back. the lower portion of the tank looks ok and there IS liquid coolant in the tank, it just looks like apple juice instead of bright pink G12
Finished installing and wiring the boost gauge just now, I ran the hard line through the heating/AC duct work under the dash but I'm gonna wait until tomorrow to finish the rest of the plumbing. I think it looks pretty good, though I may take it back out at some point and mess with it more. Pics in the morning.
i hope you don't have to get your car out of jiffy lube with a crane. i'd avoid them.
they're only good for inspections that you absolutely need to pass lol
i have nothing against generic shops, i have everything against shops with 16 yr old "helpers"

Yeah Yu I know what you mean, I swore I would never take another car back to that place after I watched them change my oil one time. I think I may just do it myself and go from there.
Here's the semi-finished vent-mount. Still not entirely pleased with the way the vent looks behind the gauge, but you get the idea. I'll probably end up messing with it a little more tonight. Already tested the electrical connections, everything works wonderfully. The white markings on the gauge aren't quite as white as the rest of the cluster at night, but I think it still looks ok.

Nice! I'm pleased to see another driver's vent-mounted gauge. To get the top and bottom horizontal slats I used a Dremel with the side cutting drill bit thing - the one that is meant for drywall I believe.
