I did actually, I was rooting around in the back for something while the radio was on and felt it vibrate. Didn't know it was that little though. I wonder if a bigger one would fit back there....

One 12" FTW!

Still plenty of room for junk back there and it's plenty of bass.

what i did was i took that anemic sucker out of there and i replaced it with a JL 6W3, there's actually only 2 5/8" og depth there for top mount, so what i did was I fabricated a trim ring, and added 1" of depth and the JL fit perfectly, put some sealant behind the trim ring to make an air tight fit, and viola!!! Audi actually engineered this enclosure pretty darn good for good SPF noise balance, I just dont understand why they would put a stupid 23watt sub there??!! the amp for that cheesy sub is actually mounted right there in the enclosure of the sub, and this same amp is what powers the rear door speakers, so when you go all out with sound, you wont have to do alot of rewiring.....anyhow, just let me know when your ready to tackle that and i'll be glad to help.

It sounds really good though, really deep inside the car, obviously, its not floor pounding that the cars that are around you feel it also, but i'm not into that anymore, i just want it to sound good for ME! and it sounds awesome, and no trunk space was LOST!! that is where the beauty lies

Had my first experience with limp mode yesterday. Left my car running while I filled up, then pulling away from the gas station was only making about 3lbs of boost. Made it about 4 miles before the CEL came on. Drove to AutoZone and got it scanned and cleared, P1701 so it could be MAF, O2 sensors, blah blah blah. Still runs and idles fine, runs great apart from limp mode lol. Will update as i figure out what the problem is.

Alright I've got a n00b question about limp mode. I cleared that bank 1 lean code, and it came back after about 40 miles. Pretty much what I expected. But the car seems to be jumping in and out of limp mode?? The CEL stays on all the time, but the boost/timing/fuel maps seem to be going back and forth between normal and limp. When in limp mode, it won't push more than 3-4 psi, and is noticeably sluggish. Occasionally throughout my ~35 mile round trip to work over the last 2 or 3 days, it will jump out of limp mode, boost the normal 8-10 psi and be back to its old self. Is this normal? Makes me think MAF rather than O2 sensor(s)...
