putting a cone filter of any kind on does nothing. you can do it for the sake of having something to do, but it doesnt help with anything except make your turbo slightly more audible. if you do a poor job of installing it it will actually remove power from your car.

Unlike yours, Jc61990, most people seem to have a U pipe in there setup. I'm guessing it's there to position the filter in the path of the direct airflow. Do you think that would make a difference?

Also, I'll be ordering a heat shield from this guy, he seems to have the best product out there and good references. http://www.blinktekdesign.com/

yea i know what your talking about when u say they have the u-pipe, ive seen those kits on lltek.com but they are pretty expensive, i got my kit for 70$ it came with a filter, a mounting bracket, filter cleaning kit, some zip ties. and other junk its the K&N 57i kit
