Just got back from the mechanic, He raised up the car and everything was loose. Needs Tie rod, ball joint, control arm and the axle boot is ripped I think that was the knocking noise. Wheel bearings are fine. Hes gotta call me later with a price. How hard is it to replace these parts your self, I know it would be cheaper finding parts online and they dont install parts that you bring in. Any one in the south east mass area wanna make a quick buck. lol

fcp groton makes a good kit and it can be hard or easy depending on the pinch bolt. Sometimes Control arms give you a really hard time.

Thanks for the site, They got great prices and thats were im ordering from. Another question though. The boot on my front left drive shaft closest to the wheel is ripped and im guessing the lack of grease is causing the knocking noise. Would I have to replace the whole drive shaft to repair that. Thanks for all the help.

That should be all you need to complete the boot replacement
