ko4 in a 1997, is it possible??

If it's between the two then definitely K04 (or K03/K04 hybrid from a place like GPopShop). You don't need a new DV if you don't get the tuning because the K04 isn't going to do much for you without the tuning. Your DV might be worn enough to fail sooner or later, but if it does on a K04 w/o the tune, then it would have on a K03 as well.

If you haven't already had a bunch of various crap replaced in the car, though, expect to find a bunch to do. Vacuum lines, vacuum booster, etc.

Do the N249 bypass too... if the 97s even had those.

Start with just the K04. It will run on the stock tune till you can get the chip you want. Then you can get the FMIC after. Do it in that order and you wont have any problems.

Thanks for the advice guys, I ordered a brand new k04. And I have a forge 007 DV already so i wont need a new one. So this thing will just bolt right in then? Will I need anything else?
