Default Lower coolant hose came off - plastic connector

1998 Audi A4 1.8T manual AC

Lower radiator hose plastic connection to radiator came off. Car stranded. Truck stop repair shop could not fixed. Abandoned for now. Need to put parts and tools together to fix it.

Obviously, I get a new lower radiator hose assembly (with a new plastic connector/clip), photo below.

Part number seems to be 8D0 121 055 (with or without "G" at the end?)

To be prepared, I also want to take/bring the respective connector piece that sits on the radiator.

a) How does the part look like? How may it be called (for a source search)?
b) Is that part bolted onto the radiator?
c) any pics of it?

I thought the inlet that the hose slides over is built into the radiator, but never really looked to be sure. PM ObnoxiousDrunk - he changed out a radiator last spring and may be able to tell you.

My thoughts agree with ImTheDevil, the connection that the lower radiator hose mounts to is a part of the radiator end tank. I can look in about an hour to verify.
