That is the caliper slide in yellow. If it's not moving you will have to have some fun extracting it replacing the guides and cleaning it and then putting some good grease in there. Or else your in the same position again and screwed.

I would not reuse the caliper myself

you will need two wrenches. A pretty thin 15mm and a 13mm wrench or socket. the 15mm will hold the head of the carrier bolt and the 13mm unbolts another.

I hope the files will help a little.

I have no idea when they were changed last, I only acquired the car recently. As for those pins I'll find a way to get them moving before re-installing.

Thanks guys.

So I got one of them out and I bent the other one... -_-

What are those things called? I'm gonna have to buy another one.

+1 on the brake resevoir cap. But, I don't think it should be spinning freely enough to turn with just needle nose pliers. It's like a screw, so it should compress as you turn, if after about 10 turns, it's not compressing any, I think you may have an issue.

Yeah I got that part figured out, rented the tool and it worked perfectly.

Now my problem is that I bent one of the slide pins on the carrier. I got it out but it is bent. Where can I buy a slide pin for the carrier? Can't seem to find them anywhere!

Any ideas?

The dealer has those on hand, especially in the snowy areas.

Good to know, are they gonna cost me an arm and a leg? If yes, anywhere else to get em?

Probably about $15 per pin, but dealerships are commission based so you can always talk him down in price. It probably only costs the dealer $4.
