Default Muffler

Hi
I have been looking at getting a new exhaust/muffler for my 1999.5 Audi a4 b5 2.4L V6
A friend recommended the Magnaflow 14815
All I'm looking for is a good sounding exhaust that sounds deep and is fairly quite when idling

What do you guys recommend?

Sorry if this is in the wrong spot
This is my first post
Thanks in advance

Look in the Sights & Sounds subforum. I posted a couple videos of the setup I have on my 2.8 along with info on what it's comprised of. Also, search YouTube and you'll find videos there. A lot of setups will sound fairly similar but exhaust system sound is very much an individual taste, so listening to different setups will help you decide best.

Also it depends on how much you want to spend. I spent only $300 on my custom cat-back exhaust from a local muffler shop. Just bought a Vibrant TPV muffler and got custom 2.5" piping from the muffler shop. Sounds pretty bad *** and didn't spend a fortune

dam 300$? where do you go or live that's over kill i got quoted 100$ for 2.5" all the way out to the muffler and $160 if i want 3" down pipe (from turbo) and 2.5" for the remaining bottom all the way out to the muffler.

LOL the cheapest quote I got for a custom setup was $650 with no downpipe. I'm jealous!
