A valid response was given over and over, yet its still not good enough because you cant read through jokes and sarcasm? Not our problem. This should not even be an issue.Post forum issues in the "ForumIssues" section. Sorry you had to go to the trouble of searching for the answer to themost commonly asked question on this site. The chip manufacturers are universal in relation to B5/B6/B7, which is why it's in the general A4 section.

Hmm. My A4 was actually really peppy when I first got it, but 12 months later, it's definitely gotten a little on the sluggish side. Okay . . . quite a bit ont he sluggish side. I don't know what to blame for it, but it's startin' to get me down. Any suggestions (other than buying a chip, as I just dropped $800 on the timing belt, so a little low on the cash).

If you dont have a CEL/fault codes, don't worry. You're just getting used to it. If you get a chip you'll have a **** eating grin on your face for a while, but eventually it'll wear off and you'll think it's slow again.
