If the car does have the sport package, should it have a lower stance than the non sport package? I thought that the cars with sport springs sat a little lower than non-sport. Definitely has the tip-tronic transmission, cant wait to try it out. What other options does the sport package have?

Yeah you might have a sport steering wheel (most do) but thats not sport suspension or wheels. Nice pickup though. Can't beat that with a damn stick at all. Why do you think the tq converter is bad? Whats the problem exaclty?

The car does attempt to drive, but its sluggish. Also makes a loud squealing noise kind of like a dry power steering pump, I also suspect the trans fluid pump to not be working or clogged. Anyone know what years these transmissions are compatible with?

Well before doing anything drastic, do a fluid/filter/pan gasket job and see. Maybe all the fluid leaked out or is burt to hell. Squeeling could be the V belt tensioner or maybe cam chain tensioner. It could also be the ps and/or tranny pump like you think. You would want to get a fwd tranny off an 00 or 01 a4, and maybe any passat with ATW/AWM engine code.

How do you check the fluid level on this car? I cant find a dipstick, I assume there is a bolt I can remove to inspect the fluid level.

Yeah the fill/check hole is the giant allen bolt on the pan. The fluid has to be a certain temp though when checking for the right level.
Check this out.

Also, are all the gears lit up in a red box on the dash where it shows PRD432? If so you probably have either a bad tcu or more likely a bad gear range switch. Did you scan for faults?
