I need help find the correct vacuum line for seafoam treatment! Looking to the engine case and vacuum next oil change and don't want to put seafoam in the wrong vacuum line. Pictures would be great have a a4 b5 2001 fwd 1.8t.

Oh wow thank you, just assumed no one did or nor posted on how to do it with our cars

 

When you do it make sure to do it slow and not suck in to much at once you will stall the car. I also highly recommend changing your plugs afterwards.

 

Agreed with Don. It helps to have someone hold the car at 2000RPM to keep it from stalling. And yeah the 1.8T tends to foul its plugs more often than the 2.8 with a Seafoam treatment.

Use 2 cans, one in a full gas tank, half in the crank (oil), half in the intake (vacuum), then change the oil once it's time to refill the gas. You don't want that stuff running in the oil too long. And do the plugs when you do the oil. Whatever's cheapest from AutoZone or whatever (tell them your car, they'll give you the right ones). The 1.8s eat plugs like a fat kid eating candy on halloween, so expensive ones are a waste of money.

I read somewhere that it could be bad to put into the oil... so i didnt do that when i first seafoamed.

But yea, change plugs, change the oil, and make sure there is some gas in the tank too when you put it in there.
