The brake sensors are easy to replace, you should be able to just take off the wheel and tire assembly, and the abs sensor should be located below the caliper assembly towards the inside of the brake assembly near the bottom, it just slides in and out, its really easy. The coolant sensor, Im still working on with my own 99.5 A4 2.8. Im not really sure, because im leaking fluids somewhere, I've just been to lazy to locate the leak. Filling it back up to max fill wont reset the sensor though. If you find any info out let me know too, im still searching.

on my 99 1.8, the coolant sensor is directly behind the engine block itself, somewhere near the middle. As far as I know, its just a plug and play kinda situation. It's a sensor, so I don't know what else you could really do with it lol. My coolant light went away, but I don't have a reading on the coolant guage, so I'm assuming there's a problem with it. I would suggest searching around on the forums here or on audizine. You're bound to find an answer.
