need help? getting code p0411
saying secondary air flow sensor but we cant power point where the problem is just replaced mass air under the intake but still getting the cel. anyone help any answers may help and im new here just bought my audi 2000 a4 1.8t thanks... and already problem,,lol lucky me right
Not necessarily lucky you, B5's are pretty notorious for lots of small problems, but so very worth it
Things to check in this case: Make sure the secondary air pump is in fact functioning. It's located directly below the air box. Relatively easy access from underneath, or awesome access with a bumper removal. If it's functioning, check the relay; it has a tendency to stick. Its located in the ECU housing which is pretty much right in front of the steering wheel on the engine side of the second firewall. Pull the relay out, give it a shake, plug it back in. Worst case scenario, buy a new one, its only about 35 bucks depending on where you get it. After that, check all the connections of the system. Make sure there are no cracks in any of the hoses going to or from the pump, and make sure they're connected tightly to the combi valves they feed. If the pump's not functioning, start looking for a new one. Try junk yards, pick n pull's etc first, a brand new one will be about 350 bucks, a reman not too much cheaper.
Best of luck to you
