Have you replaced your maf or not? If not, unplug it and see if it starts up quickly. If so, I think I'd replace the engine coolant temp. sensor. If it goes bad your ecu will think that your engine is always cold, and so it runs rich on warm starts which could cause a no start situation.

 

Mine cranked too, it wouldn't fire. Once she did start, it ran rich and the check engine light would come on about 10 seconds later. It often died leaving me in the middle of the gas station and I had to wait a couple more minutes for the engine to unflood and for it to cool. That was when the engine was warm. My new starter worked fine.

A similar thing happened when my O2 sensor needed to be changed

Yea I just change my maf sensor and it still having problems I'll try what you had said thank you guys so much I'll keep ya posted

 

Its the coolant temp sensor, too bad you didn't replace the $14 part before the $300 one LOL!

 

im having the same issue with my 99.5 30 valve .... it don't always do it, but it never does it on a cold start... the car also needs cats. dont know if that would have anything to do with it. i've been reading temp sensor all over the forum for similar issues. anyone have the part number and on a 1-10 d.i.y. scale how hard is the replacement?
