New A4 owners check in
Do you like your new audi?
Much more than I should!
How long have you owned it?
Since April 2010
Why did you decide to buy one?
I wanted a car that wasnt front wheel drive, rear or 4 wheel only, and I like the design.
Was there another vehicle you were thinking about before you bought the audi?
Yes, a BMW 5 series, but the looks just didnt cut it.

Yes, I love this car. This is my dream car
I have owned my Audi for roughly 1 month now
I decided to buy an Audi because I love how it is allwheel drive and feels amazing to drive
Only Audi all the way

Previous Audi A4 2.8L I owned almost 11months before a stupid woman driver ran a red, doing 7500$ worth of damage to my front end(bent frame killed the repairs).
Buying another Audi this weekend. looking at an 99 a4 2.5TDI(6spd) i'll post on it when i get her!

Great handling, awesome looks, Awesome on all types of terrain, especially here in Germany. Comfortable ride, can be modified to an extent. It's not a ricer(JDM). German Engineering is solid. the list goes on.

Sure, loads, except when my eye saw that cactus green A4, 5spd sitting on the lot for 3k, it was all i could see.

Affordability was a prime requesite naturally, but for some reason low priced quattos mean a beastly previous owner, as it has transpired with my dear Zepherine. Ive got an appointment with the dealer about an oil light problem, and Im down on my joy already this month but I will shell out because know it wil be worth it. I have a definite conection with mah good lady, and most of the 'techniques' I use to navigate traffic, I would never ever get away with in any other car, and that has been field tested LoL. I have also heard that they use the golden ratio to design their forms, which resonated with me quite profoundly, as they do have that kind of look about them that is simple yet catching and they look right and complete from all angles. I think Ive found my brand!
Well, Checking in. finally got my 99 A4 2.5TDI! really good shape with 246334km which is 153,064 miles. car is EURO spec, as I am stationed in Germany. for 2800EURO's which is 3,753.4$.
Would like to know if there are any other 2.5TDI owners that have been able to tune their cars with aftermarket additions. i'm looking at overdrive pulley's, stage 3 turbo(or bi-turbo if i have the room) bigger injectors, headers and exhaust, new rotors and suspension in the end. granted not all at once, but bit by bit i hope to achieve this.
Driving on the Autobahn is awesome, there was so much power from 4-5, and then in 6 its just quick when the boost kicks in.
Glad to have an Audi again!(last audi was a 99 A4 2.8L 5spd)

Except for the gas mileage I've been getting I absolutely LOVE this car. Quattro works awesome for going snowboarding and repairs on the car aren't really that difficult.

Why did you decide to buy one?
I got my Audi because a local Nissan had it advertised for 2k instead of 4k and I thought it was a REALLY good deal. Even though it had 150k and had some small maintenance issues.

Subaru Outback or Impreza but after sitting in the Audi's interior I was sold!!!

I've owned my A4 for four years now but I'm finally able to afford to do something with it (replacing worn down parts and of course, making it faster!) so I've been giving it the attention it deserves.
I love this car through its finest and weakest hours. The only draw back to owning this car is the cost of repairs (awd).
I wanted to buy it because of the prestige of German sport sedans and new I'd love a turbo system with a lot of room to work.
Other cars I was looking at in my budget: BMW 3 series, VW Jettas

New owner here. Picked up a 99 A4 Quattro sedan with 192k miles on the clock. It's a super solid car with all maintenance up to date (with records) and in beautiful shape.
The previous owner did a lot of work to it (and I believe was a member here before, or still is probably in a different section now).
Anyhow, hope to learn a lot, and hopefully add as well.
