whats up fellow audi owners

so i have had my b5 audi a4 about a year now

its been a love hate relationship. mostly because it was in bad condition to begin with but i have been doing alot of work on it. the parts arent as cheap as im used to though. nor are they as readily available at junk yards and things.

i got into it comeing from japanees imports. i wanted a car in 4 cylnder for the economy with reasonabl power and room for upgrades. but as i am getting older (24) i wanted luxury interior and sound proofing. and i realy like the look of it.

My 2001 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro isn't so much new, but I absolutely love it! (Minus the constant repairs) >.<

I have had my B5 for about 4 years now

Didn't plan on getting an Audi because i thought they were out of my price range, but... Saw it, Fell in love, was the right price, so I bought it =D

Was planning on buying american, because I was all about the american muscle... Now i'm Audi for life!

Pretty nice car

Two months

Love German cars and haven't owned an Audi/VW yet. Plus Quattro and the price these cars are going for nowadays.

Was originally looking for another BMW, mostly M3s.

i got my red b5 1.8q last augest. i actually got it just to have awd for winter and wasnt looking for anything specific. i really like it and plan to keep it for years to come. as it sits it has 132k on it and is totally rust free (living in upstates ny thats amazing) the next step after i get the new clutch in is to replace the worn out k03 with a k04 and send the computer out to APR

Default Wife's Car

Went out to purchase a used car for my wife and she insisted on the 99-Black A4 instead of any other of the probably 2000 others in the lot.

Even after warning her of import part and labor costs and sleeping on it, she just fell for this car. Paid in full and then put 2k (on belts, timing included while I got a valve job on it, alternator and throttle body and a few other extras) into it and it is actually a pretty good car.

A new 15K-30k dollar car may have been a better option, but I do not miss monthly payments.

3 years later, it is still kicking and running well (know on wood).
