1. Yes I love my new turbo B5
2. I had it about 3 days now
3. I got it because it has everything I want ( leather, heated seats, sunroof, it's all wheel drive, and it's turbo). It's luxury and pretty quick too what else could I ask for great for all seasons.
4. 03 honda accord, 00+ vw gti, Bmw, acura

Hey guys Im a recent audi owner I just bought a 2004 A4 1.8T Quattro With Tiptronic Used they sold it to me for $3,400.00 plus title and all that it went up to $4,470 rounded and It was smoking sometimes It was the coolant they used the green regular one instead of the G12 VW Audi. Now I have it on the shop now for the tranny and I dont mind fixing it but Is it Worth the money? Did I did a good Investment? I just wanna know what I have on my hands. BTW This is my very first car that I own for my self. I will appreciate any advise or suggestions.

First off, welcome to the community!!

Second, read the topic and look at the section
This is the b5 model section and this thread has a form which you should use

Third, you want to post here in the b6 section to get any model related questions answered

On a side note, the service rate for our cars is quite high in the states, so I would suggest you do any work on the car which you would be able to pull off yourself. Btw, in your thread tell us what happened to ur trany, please

My model I think is the b6.

What happened was that first the car was shaking for some reason then I try to do a oil + filter change and I got confused and flushed the transmission fluid and because I thought that I did flush all the engine oil I add up the oil on top of the old one so pretty much I over filled and went for a test drive but It was smoking and suddently the PRND starting going red and the car starting going slow and I heard the trany slip so I keep on driving it to my mechanic and he did everything as it is supposed to be but the trany only worked on reverse and on drive really slow so I bought a used trany for 875 with shipping from Force5auto.com and praying to see my car back on the road with the old trany the mechanic is going to check if they can fix it but I just have to wait and pray for it to get fixed. Any suggestion?

Do you like your new audi? Im in love...

How long have you owned it? 2 days...

Why did you decide to buy one? To kill Subaru's...

Was there another vehicle you were thinking about before you bought the audi? VW

'01 A4 1.8L AT/Sport/Bose/Silver, 146K miles from original owner

1. She looks pretty and is straight (body-wise). Haven't actually driven her but for a mile or so.
2. 6 hours
3. My sis is kinda cash-strapped, and with 2 teens and a 3rd just behind those two, I know she will need a 2nd car soon
4. Whatever else I could get for 3 or 4 grand

But it's such a pretty car that I think I will keep this for myself and send the fam my orange '04 2.3L Mazda 3S MT. I still have my '14 Subie Foz XT as my DD, but when I need to drive something that actually looks elegant and refined, I will hopefully love driving this car (after I fix the torn seat, the zip-tied lower front facia, holey floor mat and replace the failed ABS module).

Default New b5 owner here!

This is gonna be interesting.
I just paid $1800 for a 2001 a4 quattro 2.8 v6 with 219000 miles on it!
Had a pre-purchase inspection done has new clutch, driveline, brakes, winter tires.
Needs engine mount, transmission mounts, oil change, sound system, fuel filter, has a valve cover leak and some other minor issues.
But it drives really well and it's a risk I'm willing to take!
Will try to DIY most of the work and will definitely be a lurker here on this forum!
