I am not loving it yet.... I love the idea of the car, but have some maintenance to do first (previous owner sludged the motor... waiting on a rebuild!)

I have owned the car since November of 2010.

Why did you decide to buy one?
I have always loved the way they drive and the precision engineering feel

Was there another vehicle you were thinking about before you bought the audi?
Not seriously!

 

Do you like your new audi?
I really like it! so much that we also got my wife a B5 A4 when she couldnt pay her A5 payments.

How long have you owned it?
mine: 1.5 yrs, wife's: 6 months

Why did you decide to buy one?
cutting back on spending and saving for house instead. sold C5 ZO6 and eclipse and bought the A4 for reliability and looks.

Was there another vehicle you were thinking about before you bought the audi? was looking at civics and integras but the audi suited me better.

Why did you decide to buy one?

Got tired of spending a fortune on gas on a big azz Americano (STS '95) so i opted for something smaller & sleeker. Plus, winter in Montreal is probably the worst in all of North America so i can't go wrong with an Audi and so far so good.

Was there another vehicle you were thinking about before you bought the audi?

I checked out some Beamers but more specifically Mazda 6 and Mazda Millenia's. Something about the A4 2.8 attracted my eye though, kinda when you see a hot chick at a club but then see an even hotter one 20 mins later and talk to the hotter one without regrets of not having spoken to the first one who would've made u waste your time.

 

Awesome car, I just got mine 12-20-2010 and its all black with leather inside. Got it because i like audis and always wanted one, finally do. Couple issues but i should be able to work them out

 

Honda civic , accord , and a Nissan altima, made the right decision though !

 

1 i want to say i love it but i cant i owned my audi for 3days and i suspected no boost and so i had my friend hook me up with a boost gauge and as i suspecetd no boost so i checked all over the fourms and i am new to this whole engine set up but i made a leak down test for it a pressured it to 8ps and i had no leaks my vacuum is set to 20 at idle and then i take off in 1-5th my boost sits at 0 and i really am at a lost of words for this car i love the 4wd but honstly i have never felt boost so it sucks and dont really know where to go from this point ps. i have no check engine or cell also the car holds study idle and drives fine no shakes or any thin just have no boost!!!!!!
2 three days of hell so far but cant wait till i get boost

Just bought one. Today actually......I KNOW I'm going to love it. I've always wanted a german car, and even moreso an Audi and now here it is........But don't worry, I know what I'm getting myself into.

A Few hours.

Quattro, leather interior, sporty, good looking, german, and the price was right for the one I found.

I was looking at 2000(ish) years s40, a4, subaru, jetta(ehhh glad I didn't).

 

1. i freakin love it and i only owned it for 2 days

2. the best 2 days of my life

3. looks, affordable AWD TURBO 5 SPEED

4. audi avant 1.8t quatro 5 speed got the sedan instead
