With a V6, buy a supercharger or enjoy the car's engine as-is and mod for handling and style.

And if your car is a 99 and doesn't have projectors, it's an early 99. A 99.5 would have projectors already.
Yeah I was looking at that, nice supercharger setup for about 3.5k, and no intercooler too. Personally anything turbo is a nono for the weather up here, it's fine for places where the temps are nowhere near the freezing point, i've seen too many engines have cracked turbo spools or intake plenums because it was just too damned cold outside, or my favorite, spool blades chipped because of ice that got formed inside. and then yes the extra maintenance,

Just buy the 1 piece projectors from any 99.5-01 A4 or 00-02 S4, trim the fender a little for them to fit, do the clear corner mod if thats your taste and then get a DDM tuning HID kit and you're all set. Theres a DIY out there for the 2pc to 1pc conversion, start at audidiy.com.

Where's "up here"? I'm in CO and I've had no issues with cold weather and the turbo. Coldest i can recall was -17F (air temp, was nearly -30 with wind chill). It actually drives better when the weather is cold rather than hot.

It's almost impossible to get any original parts here, most scrap yards here don't have the original headlights, and quite frankly i find them dull, i was looking at nice ones on ebay like theese ones

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Audi-...Q5fAccessories

but nowhere does it say the type of bulb used

I find that there's little supoprt for aftermarket part for this car, maybe i'm just not looking at the right places

Sorry i did'nt fill out my whole profile, "Up here" is Montreal, quebec, lately we had temps of -30 celcius (-22 farenheiht) -44 (-47 farenheit) with wind factor, we've seen many cracked manifolds, broken blades and a whole lot of other issues due to the cold, and mostly all japaneese and german built cars, but that's another debate ;-)

Halos belong on Bimmers. That ad says not compatible with stock HIDs, so aftermarket ones will probably damage the housings too. Also, people have had isues with those lamps condensing. So quality, imo, seems iffy at best.

The fact it doesnt specify bulb should tell you something.

You're not looking in the right places for parts.
www.034motorsport.com
www.ecstuning.com
www.goapr.com
www.eurocodetuning.com
www.purems.com
www.mjmautohaus.com
thats just a start. All of these places I've ordered stuff from personally and are quality distributers with quality products.

Also, you can look in the classifieds here and on Audizine.com for used parts like the headlamps.

This site has good stuff too. www.parts4euro.com

I like thier S5 style lights. The leds look more at home on Audis than halos imo

I could'nt care less for the halos, it's more of the blacked out look and simple design i am looking for, and this hit the spot, designed for d2s, this seems the perfect choice

Thanks, now i just need to find the proper ballasts and bulbs, and most likely some hacking of the harness,

now I just need to find the same ones at a decent price, meaning CHEAP !

lol
