no heat in my 1996 Audi A4

I just replaced my heater core in my 1996 audi A4 and started up my car ..the first thing was i ran it for awhile to open the thermostat to get the coolant into the new heater core ...I seen a lot of bubbles coming out the res so after i fill up the res many times ..I'm thinking it has filled the heatr core ..so i took it for a drive and its just blowing cold
if it the hot coold flap or how to bleed it
does anybody have pictures to show me

I just replaced the thermostat and temp sensor in my car. In doing so the coolant tank was drained. All I did to bleed it (same way I had to bleed my e36 323is) was jack it up since you need to make the highest point the coolant tank for the air to escape (already up when I did the thermo) and start the car, while its running the heat has to be on the maximum temp setting. While its doing this and the tstat opens it will allow the heater core to recirculate the coolant and the trapped air will go to the coolant tank since you jacked it up.
