Default not sure whether or not my car has traction control...

1997 a4 b5 Quattro and I'm trying to figure out whether or not I have traction control. I read forums online and saw people saying it doesn't have tc so I checked my Manual and the only thing I found regarding wheel slippage was something about how the abs works with the differential to "decrease wheel slippage". I also read that audis have some button along the lines of "esp" that I'm positive I do not have. Would there be any way to let the wheels slip so that I could get sideways and have some fun?

As far as I know there is no electronic stability control or anything like that. I believe the all wheel drive Quattro system uses open differentials. When the system sees wheel slippage it engages the ABS system to lock up the slipping wheel(s) to allow the power to transfer to the wheels with grip. If you wanted to "have fun" I think you might find other cars with clutch type or helical diffs to break the wheels loose better for that purpose.
