Post problem with my radiator? 2.8q

so my radiator randomly cuts on and stays on for extended periods of time. even when my car is cold. i didnt think anything was wrong, but it is a brand new radiator and i want to be sure nothing is wrong.

(seperate problem)Another thing i have noticed is that when im in a low gear and i let off the gas i hear this clicking sound in the rear of my car. it has gotten worse. i was wondering if anyone knew what this was or if it was normal.

not sure what you mean by your radiator is "on". i didnt know they could ever be turned off (insert look of confusion). im guessing you mean radiator fan????

If the car isn't overheating, reading weird temps. or killing the battery while sitting, it's fine.

You have one main fan. The other fan is for A/C. When the A/C is turned on, both fans should run (if the engine is hot enough). There is a certain operating temp that the engine was designed to run at. When it reaches the temp, the fan turns on so the engine will not overheat. However, if the fan keeps running, it will over cool the engine. Therefore, the fan is cut off automatically by the car. This is for all cars. If you didn't notice this before, you probably weren't watching the car (while it is idling) for long enough to reach this operating temp.

Also your belt driven fan should be spinning at all times and uses a thermostatic clutch (i think its called that) to keep things at the right temp. The electric fan as said already is there for the AC. It may come on on really hot day's with the AC off to keep from overheating as well but is mainly only the AC.
