Default Quattro staggered question

I know it's bad to run an actual staggered setup on the quattro, what about running 17x8s all around but running different sizes spacers. After mounting the wheels on the S4 I'm thinking maybe 15mm front/20 or 25mm rear. Would this be as detrimental to the quattro as running an actual staggered set up? Tires are 205/45 all around.

there are several people who run stagger for years without any diff problems. different size spacers is ok too but with spacers, your wheel bearings will not like you very much. as long as your overall diameter including tires are within 5% of each other you should be fine

Staggered isn't bad for Quattro as long as you get the overall diameter to be REALLY close.

Spacers won't effect the Quattro at all.

Agreed with all of the above. If you order new wheels at some point and want to maintain that look, order one pair with the "correct" offset and the other pair with an offset 10-15mm different. That way you'll have the same width wheel, same rolling tire diameter, but a deeper lip on the rears.

rolling diameter as the other randy is correct, must be with 3-4% of oem specs to not create a problem.

ideally, you can run 225/35 with 245/35 rear...if i am not mistaken
