Real quick.

Installed the KN intake a week ago. no problems.

Ran out of gas last night and engine started to shake really bad. no throttle response.

Filled her up.

Got her runnin. And got a CEL.

Now the Idle drops up and down and she feels like she wants to stall

Help?

 

Gotta get the car scanned and post the code and let's take it from there.

 

could be that your fuel pump sucked up some nasty goo from the bottom of your gas tank. could be a lot of things but first thing is.... do what jeremy said

 

CEL went away. im thinkin the nasty goo thing was the problem. idle stayed put a little more today. i think i wanna do a fuel treatment soon. considering my CEL went off its a really really good thing....because if there were anything wrong at all with my intake it would have almost certinaly stayed on.
