lol maybe. car looks good though. those are pretty big gtf measurements.. what size tires? I'd try to go lower in all four corners if possible. how does vmaxx ride at that height compared to stock? (I think I remember you saying it's vmaxx..)

I'm definitely going to bring the rear level but honestly I doubt I'll go lower - the roads are just too uneven here and I already risk whacking my oil pan. Ride is actually a little softer than I'd like (the OEM S4 setup was definitely firmer), especially the rear. Rear springs are very soft and I am thinking of taking measurements to see if I can put a set of H&R sport springs on the VMaxx struts in place of the springs that come with it. More damping control is definitely needed unless your roads are very smooth. Overall though they're worth the money for the style and the cornering is still better than stock A4 gear can muster, but I won't be outgunnung Hiwords and his race springs in the turns.

Oh and tires are 225-40-18 all around.

car looks great Devil.....big difference from your sig. I'm with you though, it seems shitty roads are everywhere in the northeast. I wish I was as brave as Aledelic...him and lazer viking are my heros ;-).....maybe someday I'll get around to coilovers and slamm the **** outta the car and see what happens

Heheh if I do that I'm gonna need stiffer springs on there. Noticed Friday that at one time apparently I compressed up front and the tire tread grabbed on the fender lip and unrolled about 1.5" of it downward. When I swapped my steelies on for winter Saturday, I put it back in place.

I've toyed with the idea of spacers to shove the corners out but I've been eyeing some new wheels too, maybe for springtime. If I get them they'll handle the job for me via the lip depth Getting them depends on the economy though. I'm trying to be frugal and careful, only spending on repairs and maintenance...$50 coilover purchase notwithstanding of course.

haha Jeremy the car looks sick for sure.. and i def know about the road situation.. other people just dont get the northeast situation hahah.. but looks sick.. cant wait to be taking the same pics of my dropped car at somepoint.. ive always been leaning towards vmaxx coils just cause of the price and the fact i dont have a racecar.. although i wish i did haha.. ill try and get ahold of STs first prolly since ive heard rave reviews about them.. def like the idea of spacers tho if you can swing it in the spring

Looks good man! Only took a month of badgering

I think I'm gonna go with Vmaxx as well when my wallet permits it. Lots of more pressing matters to deal with first though: dent, brakes, tune up, P/S pump, etc. etc. etc.

For sure. I'm gonna stockpile parts of the winter (again) and then get crazy with it when the weather breaks. I still have a K&N intake that I haven't put in, need to fab a heat shield, plus i wanna do my rotors, pads, plugs, wires, and PS pump. I can handle most of that but I might need a trip to NY for the pump. Interested? Beer would be on me

PS: I'll come up for Waterfest if you guys come down for H2Oi
