Rear fog lights...
Illegal to have 2 rear fogs in some Euro countries but not UK.
But what about driving in Europe? Why does Audi think we are never going to take our cars across to France? Why is the nearside light socket not wired up? If its for safety reasons, that does not make sense as when driving in fog on the continent my rear fog is on the wrong side!

The passenger side socket is wired, it just has no bulb in it and no hole for the bulb. And the reason is as stated above - in bad weather they are visible long before taillights. I've seen it - it really burns through the fog.
OK - on your Audi its wired up, But not on my 2001 A4 3.0 Quattro Sport.
I have one less wire on the passenger side connector than on the drivers side. I dont have to cut a hole for the bulb as bulb holder is there all ready to receive a bulb. Only problem no wiring to the bulb connector.
So I still wonder what Audi are thinking when they prevent me from switching to European side.
