Default Rear washer on '98 Avant doesn't work

Hello, I recently bought a '98 Avant. I figured out how to make the rear wiper sweep by pushing the wiper control stalk on the right side away from the steering wheel. The manual says to push it all the way to spray the window. Mine doesn't spray. I can't find a resevoir back there so I'm guessing it takes the fluid from the front resevoir? That's full and the front windshield and headlight sprayers work. I can't even figure out where it's supposed to spray from back there. It looks like maybe it sprays out from the base of the wiper arm where that bolts on? Is there a pump motor somewhere to check? Fuse? Everything else seems to work so I'm guessing it's not a fuse. Thanks for any help, I'm sure you guys will get me figured out. I did a few searches and couldn't find enough info to help me.

I have the same problem on mine. You should have two pumps on your reservoir: One for the headlights and windshield, and one for the rear window. Then there's about 23,087 feet of (probably rotted) rubber tube between the pump and your back window. My pump works and if i hold it down for a few seconds there's a noticeably smaller amount of fluid in the tank, so its definitely going someplace. I just don't know where

Oh oh, I just did some more googling and searching. Looks like the hose runs under the front passenger seat and there's some computers there that get drown with washer fluid when the hose breaks there. I also found some threads saying the nozzle often gets clogged and it looks like it isn't too hard to clear out. I've got to try cleaning it out and see if that solves it. I guess you can pull the nozzle off the arm base and then run the pump and the fluid should come dribbling out the hose back there if everything else is okay.
