Default Replacing Vac Lines

When I was installing new plugs today I noticed a vac line coming off the EGR was broken and had completely fallen off. So I tried to pull off the one time clamp and got it off but then tried pulling the one off that is under the intake manifold and was unable to get it off. For anyone else who has replaced that line how did you go about getting the clamp and line off from under the manifold? I don't have the smallest of hands so it makes it harder but did you use a dremel to cut off the clamp or just yank and rip on it till it finally gave up?
