I was driving my girl on a street doing about 70 Kms ...all of a sudden the hood blew up and smashed against the windshield and is toast the hood well it is buckled in a couple of places and the end pice corners near bottom of windshield are bent up ill take some pictures **** i am so pissed ... the thing you pull out is faulty where u open the hood on the outside ..any one have a hood they can sell me.it will still close .. ill get some pics anyone ever have this happen??? i need a hood pearl white thanks.
It is parked at the autoglass place to get a new windshield later today **** i am so pissed.

 

this happened to me once on my 85 300zx with about 350k miles lol... windshield survived but the hood was FUCKED lol

Weird. I thought I would be the only Audi owner with a 85 300zx.

 

Did you take the oil can out from under the hood before you closed it?
