Speed tuning group buy!!!
Hey guys, I recently spoke with Oliver at speed tuning and am currently putting together a group buy. This group buy will be for the 30v 2.8, and 1.8T power chip. He quoted me ~130$ for them, which is about 50% off the retail price on it. We need at least 9 more dedicated buyers to get the group pricing. So if you're interested, please send me a message and ill start a list.
I know all my fellow 30v guys are always looking for an affordable and reliable way to get a little more power out of their cars, and for the price its a nice start for all you 1.8T guys as well. so jump on this opportunity and let's make it happen =]
Thanks,
Nick

He said its typically a same day process. I guess it comes down to where you're shipping it from and how much you want to pay for shipping
Cool, that's how it was done last time. I believe the price included next day return shipping in the initial buy, and the only cost variable was your shipping to them.
One additional question for you - could you get the specifics of the tune and post them? Usually it's a remap of the timing and fuel curves (which is what makes the power of course), but also elimination of the speed governor and an increase in redline. Could you get those details from him, as well as whether or not any additional options could be added in at an extra fee? Personally I'd happily pay extra for SAP elimination, wider secondary O2 tolerances, and instant green-lighting of readiness codes after clearing fault codes

There is a dunno graph available on there website. Www.speedtuningusa.com. And earlier he mentioned they adjust timing, fuel map, boost throttle response and optimize it for up to 93 octane. I'm not sure about the limiters though so I'll ask. I did ask about tuning it specifically for a vehicle with other engine modifications like injectors and whatever else, and he said to do a custom tune would be right around $200. But I'll email him and get back on tonight after work. I'm on my phone currently and it's a pita. I'm hoping we can get 10 people on board. It's a pretty good deal. Especially when you think about the price of anything else for our cars
