Hey so I just bought my new A4 and the steering wheel is rubbing against the back of the plastic console and making a squeak/rubbing noise that is driving me insane. Does anyone know if I can space the leather wheel apart from the plastic I already tried adjusting the height but that moves the entire steering wheel console. Any ideas? Thank you.

 

The plastic piece under the steering wheel comes off really easy. 4 total 8mm bolts I think. Two are under some covers, one is by the fuse panel and the other is in the lower right side corner. Take a few min and pull it off to see whats going on...

 

Thanks plastic piece was a little out of place, no more rubbing.
