I'll send you a PM once I check the part numbers. If I have it I'll include a phone number and we can make all the arrangements.

ChocalotStarfish, lol I wouldn't go nearly that far but I do have a lot of spare parts available

Default P0706 error code!

i just got my 2006 Audi A6 checked for PRNDS flashing and the error code is P0706
am not sure my mechanic in dallas has any idea as to how to fix that but he was able to pull up some info on the error code and told me that it might be a problem with the TCM and the TCM needs to be replaced... called the Dallas Audi stealership and they gave me a quote of $2100 for the TCM only and $3200 including the labor !! its 25% of the value of my car !!!

i stumbled upon this thread where i see there are some cheaper (way cheaper!)after market TCM available...if anyone can hit me up with a quote for the aftermarket TCM...it wold be great ..

cheers

There isn't "aftermarket" TCM's,just used ones that have been pulled from Audi's from salvage yards and such. Check this site for TCM's in your area http://car-part.com they should have a used TCM for your year, make and model. Good luck!
