thermostat question...

so i just had a bunch of maintenance done on my 96 12v a4q

The drop-out procedure is for 1.8T engines only. The V6s have it front and center on the block, behind the timing apparatus. Big teardown to change it. It's not hard but it takes some time.

Hey,
by any chance, did you come across a DIY about changing the Thermostat?
It's really bugging me that I can't find it, since I'm planing on doing it once I get my car back..

If the usual sources (Audiworld, audidiy.com, etc) don't have a specific one, check the timing belt procedures since that's when most people change it.

yeah i got a good balance going. cardboard with some swiss cheese holes in it. it'll last me until i can fix it.
