I have this same problem. I switch the shift stick over and the display doesn't change. I used to only get the upshift but not the downshift. I took it apart with the tutorial and I accidently broke off a couple clips that hold down the molding... Now even if I do fix it, the magnets can easily be thrown off track and my shifting may be compromised completely. What can I do? Junk yard and get me a whole new molding cover? Be a real man and just screw through the molding and into the console? lol... I want my tiptronic back, however possible!

email - jefferocks@gmail.com cause I always forget to check this ****.

also, anyone local in san francisco that can help me out? I'm such a ******* noob.

Sweet! But dammit I have work on a tourist-filled Saturday -_-.

On another note, my magnetrons have seemed to disintegrated... What to do now? And my friend that has a Passat B6 with tip said that my circuit board is deep fried, so where do I get this stuff? Anybody that has extra stuff lying around?
