trouble with code reader connecting to car

are you talking about the pins on the code reader? cuz i have used like 3 different code readers and i get the same thing everytime. i called a dealership and they sayed it could be the engine control module? trying to find someone who has had this problem lemme know if youve run into this

Checked the obd port and theres power running to it if anyone else has an idea lemme know im dyin over here

that's got to suck a4nick the dealer is prob right but i would try my best to fix it without trying to replace the engine control module

has anyone been able to solve this? need help I'm an highschool and really really trying to avoid going to the dealer to get this checkout or even worse having to buy a new ecu
