Default Trouble while starting.....

Today while starting, my car would rev to about 3k then bog for a little and die. This has been happening for a few weeks but never as bad as today. It took a few minutes for the car to start like normal. My guesses are 1. The crappy champion spark plugs in there 2. fuel filter 3. MAF or 4. Im coming up on 80k could it be the timing belt causing the hesitated start?

Timing belt? Nope. Could be the plugs. Have you gapped them to spec? Maybe a fuel filter, but I just turned 140k and still have the original filter

Try a throttle body alignment. Disconnect the battery for an hour, then hook it up. Turn the key on but don't crank the engine. Listen for a faint high-pitched hum from the throttle body. Once it stops you can fire the engine. The computer will be in relearn mode and will readjust itself to run properly. That may handle it. And yes, while the car is sitting for that hour, put some proper NGK plugs in there, capped to .032".
