i'm having the same problems, i own a 2.8 quattro, and want some more power out of it, the hard part is, is finding reliable parts to make more power for audis since they're so complicated.

if i were you, i would do it. I like the idea of knowing what's there, and if something goes wrong, you know every little thing inside of the turbos/ set up, instead of buying somebody elses work and having to tear everything apart yourself to save money.

2 free turbo's, you're lucky.

2.8 mods

Read the faq

Spend a ridiculous amount of money building the 2.8 to handle lots of boost and gathering all the parts to do custom turbos.

Or... Wait for it.................... Sell your car and get a 1.8T

i guess i'd have to drive one before i liked it, i've grown up around 6 and 8 cylinders.

all the 4 cyl's around here got nothin but fart cans attatched. probably why i'm not a big fan.

Sorry to hear that about the 4cyl...you need to surround yourself with better 4 bangers lol

That's fine if you want a 6 or 8. but these cars have very nice 4s in them. If You want 6 or 8 you need the 2.7t or the 4.2 the 2.8 just doesn't have the mods.

i agree haha.

although there is a pretty sweet golf around town.
slammed, widened gold spoke rims with polished lip. black.
mm. its sexy.

i agree that the 2.8 doesn't have the mods,
which is kind of good for me, because if i had the 1.8T i'd probably make and then dump all of my money into bigger turbos, etc. i'm 16 and this is my first car and i absolutely love it so far. but i definitely plan on buying another audi when i can afford it, along with either the 4.2, or maybe a tdi? diesel's are awesome
