VW in to Audi???
Lol don't forget to also get the ECU, intercoolers and piping, radiator and hoses, engine and tranny mounts, engine bay wiring harness, AC and related pipes and parts, fuel pump, transmission, rear diff, driveshaft, halfshafts, uprights, brakes, and potentially control arms (all of which are likely to be needed - control arms depend on which spindles you get - the lower ball joints come in two different sizes).
You need S4 halfshafts to bolt up to the tranny, which then requires S4 uprights. A4 brakes aren't compatible with S4 uprights so you need them (calipers, lines, rotors, pads). See how it snowballs?
Or you could sell the car you have and buy the S4.

your only option really if you want more power is either supercharge it, buy a 1.8 and upgrade that, or just get an S4
wait didn't you just buy an ATQ? or you can do this"

I may be parting out the car and getting a A4 1.8T or S4 2.7L.
Don't know yet but I'll be lookimg around.
Or I may just keep what I have and finish what I started and then sell it.
Putting that together requires a ton of custom fabrication and a hell of a lot of standalone tuning on the dyno. That means $$$$$$. Seriously, read what I posted just above. You'll spend more in parts alone than buying an S4 outright, and there's no labor involved. I am not making this **** up.
I've seen some S4 and 1.8L T that are wrecked and can buy for dirt cheap. Even A6 with 2.7L TT.
Will check with the pillow and we'll see were I go from there.
what he said haha. I get asked if mines an s4 ALL the time
I can fool anyone but, the insurance goes by the VIN#, and with my record, that may be an issue...
I did, and when I looked around, I noticed that they are not cheap and easy to come by right now...
I'm just going to take a little longer cause I am taking everything apart and cleaning them at the school shop...
And also swaping a 5.0L HO engine in a 97 Xplorer... Got one too many projects in my hands...
