ok so i've had some problems with my windows and what not for some time now. i have since replaced the central locking control unit with a brand new unit straight from audi. the only problem is that new unit does the same thing the old one did. the windows will randomly open regardless of the key being in the ignition or not. sometimes will be right when i shut the door after getting out. sometimes it will be 5 or 6 hours after im in it. sometimes it goes for days without happening. also, the locks i can lock them from inside the car. they will lock. but then again randomly will unlock. i didn't reprogram my key yet. could that be the cause of it acting so weird?

sounds like a short. but im not sure. thats really wierd. it seems like it is one of your locks. because you can roll down window and unlock/lock the car there. thats where i would look. see if any wires are touching
