What did you do to your B5 today?
I'm still waiting on a few parts, but should be in by EOD today, so here's my to-do list for the weekend, weather permitting, for my 2001.5 1.8Tq automatic (<- i know, ouch...ha) (in no particular order):
-led interior lighting & license plate
-oil pan, gasket (courtesy of fcp groton, quickest shipment ever IMO, BTW)
-oil change obv.
-timing belt & such (full kit from blauparts)
-coolant flush (g12 included with timing kit)
-vacuum hoses (ordered from silicon hoses)
-control arms (all lowers from ecs, uppers from fcp groton) [this one is a maybe]
-brake pads all around (thermo-quiets from advanced)
-both rear wheel bearings (fcp groton)
-boost controller (ebay, another maybe at this point)
-spark plugs
-front engine mount (fcp groton)
Done in the past month:
-new oil dipstick
-air filter (custom ram air, actually)
-cabin air filter
-boost gauge (steering column mount, from new south i believe)
-audio system (mvh-p8200bt, memphis 500w mono footprint, 10" solo-baric L7)
-forge splitr (ecs)
-8000k HIDs headlights & fogs (carhidkits.com)
-2 oil changes (cracked my oil pan, semi-slow leak.. LOVE MA roads, esp in winter)
To be done over the next month:
-new tires
-new rotors/calipers (maybe, if needed?)
Looks kinda overwhelming listed like that, haha. And there's probly a few things I left out, too. Wish me luck!

I fixed my hazard relay that hasnt been working for almost a 6months... I removed it from the centre console, opened it up and took a needle to clean up some flux that appears to have accumulated over time. Now it ticks like new =)
working my way thru the threads here and learning all the stuff i should be doing before asking any no0b questions.
had the car for about 6 weeks, so far i've got the stereo and subs installed (still no rear deck speakers though, can't seem to find the right amp for them and mine is missing); got the front- not sure what it's called, best way i can think to describe it is as a plastic skid plate- attached so it doesn't keep dropping and scraping; ordered my vag cable; bought a boost gauge; and pulled the plastic cover off the engine to determine which engine i had.
also, when i was pulling the cover off, i noticed that the line coming off my pancake valve wasn't clamped down at one end so i tightened that up. now the funny thing about that is, after i did that, my cruise control that worked intermittently, now seems to work perfectly. no idea if they are in any way related, but i'm happy it works now.

BTW anyone who needs a radiator same day, look up the Radiator Store Inc. out of Lodi NJ. They just saved my *** without charging me an arm and a leg.
