given that it's Memorial weekend, I do believe that may have been a tad out of line...
(and I'm not even one of those guys that gets all butt hurt about PC)

What didn't I do to my car over the last few days
So I took a few days off of work to do a fairly large maintenance job on my 96. Just finished it up last night. Here's the laundry list of parts I threw at it: Timing Belt, Tensioner and idler bearings, cam and crank seals, water pump, thermostat, motor mounts, Greedspeed snub mount, radiator, coolant tank, serpentine belt, new front lower coolant pipe, all new lower coolant hoses, new oil cooler and o-ring and complete G12 flush in the process.
I got most of my parts from FCP and they were great. They forgot to ship my water pump and shipped me one the next day. I really had no problems so to speak of. I've read and read and read both my manual and the online forums.
A big shout to all the forums and DIY posts from people in the Audi community. Without the wealth of knowledge in our forum and around the nets, this would of been so much harder. Thanks to all.

Quite the overhaul - that should be a nice difference. To put this out there so a lot more people see it, one of our newer members, savantv, created an "Audi Google" of sorts. It's a search feature but only searches Audi and VW forums. If you search for something, for example "change oil cooler", it'll search all the Audi sites, rather than just AF like our native search feature does. It'll get results from here, AZ, AW and QW, Freaks, PassatWorld, SCAudi, and several more. Try it - it freakin' rocks. Might help some of you find the info you need to do your projects.
