Did a quick once-over and found that I now need three tires rather than two, to go along with the two front axles and valve cover gaskets that I need to change. Fail.

I wish you would come over Nick. Bring some of that tree and we'll rip tubes and pop vikes until we run out of pizza money.
Lmfao.

I washed the NY bugs off my car at work today, only to leave as it started raining. I love free car washes.

Dragged this back to my apartment. Cleaned out the back of my car, topped off the windshield washer fluid and THOUGHT about disconnecting my auto level headlight sensors.

Picked my car up from the transmission shop. Drives nice and smooth again. But, now my wallet feels empty.

no clue. first my torque converter was whining , sounded like my car was super charged. then it went away. only on cold starts tho. then the tranny had probs with the range sensor. then it had probs with it stayin in drive (it would trick itself into thinking it was 1st gear) then reverse went out then all my gears followed with a big pool of fluid on the ground with smoke. the fluid came out of the flywheel service holes on the tranny. got a new tranny for 400 or so .
its sitting in the garage. just got all the cosmetics off the old tranny now i have the fussing and grunting to get the bolts out so i can actually pull the tranny. so yeaah you know the usuall after that.

oh how i love audi and how big of a pain in the **** it could be.

oh not to mention i just broke my brand new flex pipes.
