Yes. I didn't say as much though until Tyler posted up, out of respect for the fallen. I gotta say, for the hour I was at the car, at least 10 people came by and were all talking about how nice it must've been and what a shame it was to see it there. I showed a couple guys the pics I had of it from my house last summer and they were like "daaaammmmnnnn that really sucks." and they're right.

Tyler, like I told you yesterday, she will live on through organ donation

So sad about Tyler's car, that thing was sick. Glad you didn't get hurt though man! Cars can be replaced, skinny white guys cannot.

What I will do today is take out my cruise control module and do some soldering hoping that it gets my cruise control working. It never worked since I bought the car.

VCG isn't too bad of a job, but it's suprising how much crap you have to move out of the way to actually get the valve cover off. I inadvertently started my PCV/SAI/EVAP delete that way lol

Today's project was a win - I fixed my airbag light once and for all (the legit way, not by removing the bulb from the cluster). I took pics throughout the process. DIY on the way.

The hits keep coming I went back today and got the parts for converting my pre-facelift interior to the facelift double-DIN console. Got the rear ashtray, armrest and rear console with cupholder insert, forward console, radio cage, ashtray, HVAC head unit, and fog/ESP switches for $43. For an additional $5.45 I got a replacement TT caliper carrier since one of mine was stripped. Out the door for $48.99 and all I need is the dash cupholder and hazard button face (which are coming this week from Meloman).

Can't wait to swap in all this stuff and the short shifter For the time being I'll continue to run my flip-face head unit, but eventually I'll upgrade to a fixed screed 2DIN unit.
