sliced my exhaust off at the flex pipe and now I can't drive it because it vibrates my teeth off, and blows my ear drums out. Im fitting new mufflers tomorrow. Did loose about 100 pounds off that stock piece of ****, what is that thing made of it weighs a ******* ton.

Woke up at 5:45am to do the biking portion of a sprint relay triathlon (with my dad and sister), we got 5th out of 20 and thus got medals (pretty good for our first time!), and were back by about 12:30. I relaxed for a couple hours, and swapped out the test pipe for my high-flow cat. Went to dinner with my parents shortly after 5, and started working on swapping out rear springs/struts around 6:30pm.

Now I've got brand new Bilstein sport struts in the rear with Tein springs, and as a result my car has reverse rake the Eibach springs still up front let the car sit about 1/2 inch higher than the Tein springs. Gotta get some front shocks ASAP!

My front is still sitting an inch higher than the rear.

BITCH!! Ask Jeremy, I drove my car from Pittsburgh to Bing then all around Bing with fucked up flex pipes. I just made the best out of it.

The stock on B5's is really thick and I never knew why but it's always been a pain in the ***.

Which Tein springs are you using? I have the S-Techs on mine with S4 struts and love it. I have just under 25" GTF front and rear. With the 1.8 being a much lighter engine, you may end up higher in the front as I don't think the S-Tech is made for the 1.8 cars.

Yeah you could tell Pat was coming when he was half a mile away, that thing was so damn loud. I can't believe you never got a ticket while you were here.

Tein made S-Tech for the B5 1.8T FWD. My car still has Eibach springs in the front which have about a 1.3" drop compared to the 2.0" drop of the S-Tech springs. Here's a pic of my current rake:

The rear sits great!
