What did you do to your B5 today?
So, I have a 2001 A4 1.8T with a ST Stage 1 (91 octane) tune from 5 years ago. I currently have a test pipe, full 2.5" XS Power exhaust, and 710N diverter valve.
I was thinking about switching out of this vehicle given it has 245,00 miles (albeit no major issues), however I figured it would be easier to bump up the tune in the meantime to keep a smile on my face.
I talked to Oliver today and said there's a Stage 3 tune that would cancel out the cat delete sensor (rear 02), and with the mentioned mods would bump the Crank HP to 240 or so. My questions is whether anyone else has heard of (or has) a ST Stage 3 tune? If so, info?
At this point, I'm posting this in multiple threads in hopes of a quicker response (I apologize a head of time and will delete them ASAP)!
Thanks.....

That's what I thought, and all of our conversation was in email. However, with that in mind, I repeatedly said I have the stock K03s turbo, yet his numbers didn't change. I actually called him today and again said if that will be too much power for the K03s and he said it wouldn't if I drove is conservatively. Well, I don't race or anything like that, but that doesn't mean I don't like to get on it here and there. Well, I am sending it out Saturday, and should get it back Tuesday or Wednesday, and will report back for sure.
With the standard Stage 1 91 octane tune I'm spiking at 20-21 according to my gauge, and he mentioned 20-25 PSI with the Stage 3. When he emailed me that, I became concerned and called him because I don't think the K03 would like 25psi lol. Well, he said he'd look further into everything once he receives my ECU. Like I said, I'll check back next week with an update, gripes, applause, etc.....

Tore out my turbo and exhaust manifold to get ready for the frankenturbo. In the meantime I've been putting seafoam in the oil pan without oil to try to clean up anything. I will probably also clean the combustion chamber with some mopar ccc since It will be sitting for a bit.
I also fixed my broken heater core nipper with a prestone flush n' fill kit, I got the idea from some guy on vwvortex and it actually worked really well!
Next up is fixing my window (I think it sits like 1mm low which means I can hear wind right by my ear, it's really annoying)

I got my oil leaking PCV system replaced with a silicone version from 034motorsport.com
Breather Hose Kit, AUG/AWM/AMB B5/B6 Audi A4 & Volkswagen Passat 1.8T, Reinforced Silicone.
I also changed my Cooling Hose Flange Single Outlet Meyle, while i was in there but it turns out the flange wasn't leaking anti-freeze but a hose.
Replaced a fuel line...
There were two screws that were missing on the coolant FLANGE, replaced those missing screws and put in the new one, along with a new hose.
flushed my Heater core as i was not getting heat but cold air. Nothing came out in the flush, no chunks of stop leak or anything else. So i had my mechanic, bleed the coolant system like a maniac!
Hot air now blows but it not red hot!!! just like i like it!
He claims that after i drive it around for a day or so, i should bleed it via the left hose, coming from the heater core, through the bleed hole on the hose, wait until i see coolant coming from the hole, then push the hose back to cover the hole and reapply the clamp! is this the correct method for bleeding air from the heater core, system?
Do i remove the coolant reservoir cap while doing this or i keep the cap on and the car running while bleeding from the small hole in the hose, coming from the heater core?
I also had the fuel filter replaced and had my exhaust tied back down in place as it kept hitting my transmission under the car.
Sometimes, when i am at a stop light or making hard turns, left or right, my muffler/exust would vibrate and make a lot of noise, being the idiot that replaced my flex pipe, didn't adjust it back in place. Its all good now.
Had him change my oil while i was at it, had to buy some G12 to top off the amount that spelt, during the heater core bleeding.
I also had him replace my windshield wiper reservoir and windshield wiper pump as the pump was cracked and was leaking fluid and the reservoir was warped and had a hole in it and was leaking at a certain level.
I got a lot done this winter, which leaves me with only one thing to do for spring for Audina, have my driver seat's leather replaced/ repaired.....AGAIN!

So Farmers came through and valued my '98 2.8 at a little over $4k in the settlement, not bad. The adjuster went on about how clean it was and took into account recent improvements/maintenance. Either way, it's been a fun 7 years with the B5, and I appreciate all the useful tips and banter on this forum. Just acquired an '06 A6 4.2, and look forward to many more years with Audi. The V8 is a lot of fun, but I miss the manual trans. Alright, moving along to another thread....
