What did you do to your B5 today?
I plasti dipped the lower front bumper valance I got yesterday from the junk yard. Damn it looks good. I will have to wait until it's warmer out to do the rest of the trim.
Also plasti dipped the rear badges. I need to do the one on the grill next.
I'm not a fan of chrome at all in case you couldn't tell.

It really just looks like black badges. Maybe I'll do that for the grill though. I'll keep the back ones all black just so they all match. Like I said not a fan of chrome. I'll take some pictures tomorrow!
I have to wait until it's warmer to do the skirts and remaining trim pieces.
Grill looks nice. I want to try and get the ugly orange out of the headlights also. Did it with my other car. I'm just afraid to break it, the xenon lights aren't cheap.
VAG-COM can be used to actively log engine performance, aside from simply reading fault codes. So from that perspective if you take engine logs you can go through them and see what your fueling/air/timing look like.
Your ECU uses/adjusts fuel trims based on air intake and O2 sensor readings, and this is a good point of reference as well. Ideally fuel trims would be 0%, but -10% to 10% is considered acceptable. Anything outside that range generally means something is not quite right.

I told Oliver about it, however he needs the exact code and I didn't write it down at the time. I plan on having it scanned again since I don't get charged, and Oliver would be willing to fix whatever he can, but he said the tune should've included the sensor kill.
From your post I'm replying to, you mention the 02 sensor can affect the fuel readings, but if I'm not mistaken, the secondary 02 wouldn't be applicable correct? Only the main 02 sensor would be responsible for any fueling/other issues?
A K04 will be able to max out the stock injectors. By throwing in a different FPR, which will probably be a 5bar (GIAC offers a mild K04 tune that uses stock injectors @ 5bar), you can get higher fuel flow out of the injector.
And why would you need a different FPR when you're still running the K03 (but with the K04 tune)? Because you need hardware to match software. The tune will expect a certain amount of fuel to be present. If it's not then your car may run lean/rich.

I forgot to mention that the K04 Speedtuning tune was supposed to eliminate the secondary 02 sensor fault, however it's still on. When I had mechanic test drive it, he also plugged in the Vag-Com and told me it's still the secondary 02 bank 1 sensor 2 fault active (had this fault for the past 5 years with Speedtunings Stage 1)...

My current tune has the secondary O2 sensor partially tuned out, where the ECU won't throw any codes for the secondary O2 sensor detecting high emissions (like with a high flow cat or test pipe). But I was getting 2 codes for my secondary O2 sensor still... turned out the sensor was bad and replacing it has made everything work properly

I'm sure this questions's answer is out there, but since we're having a back-and-forth thing going on here, any suggestions as to which 5BAR FPR to get? I'm willing to try putting it in to see if it makes any difference. This tune has to be very similar to the GIAC mild tune you mention since it's not designed for the larger injectors and such. I still haven't had a chance to dig deeper for fueling numbers via Vag-Com, but do plan on doing that soon. Maybe I'll just wait until I'm able to see the fueling values before tossing money around on a 5BAR. I guess Vag-Com will help support the best decision on this one.
