Will you take one of the caliper carriers off for me? One of mine has stripped threads.

As for mine, last night I picked up Eibach Pro-kit springs from Terry (TAConklin) and just need to pull my old struts out of the garage and assemble it all so I can get off these damn Vmaxx coils. It'll be about an inch higher, won't kill my tires in a matter of four months, and will ride/handle a whole lot better. Can't wait to do work

Once they're on, I will.

Today's fun: take the 18s off til I get tires and slap the steelies back on - avoiding a blowout on the highway is fairly high on my list. No sweat with that part. Decided while I was in there to clean up the calipers (good) and adjust the driver side tie rod to correct a toe-in issue. Managed to snap the TRE pinch bolt off in one shot (bad). Got it handled and now the car tracks straight and I can take my kids in the car without safety issues. All is well again.

Why do you go through tires every 4 months? No alignment?

Went pretty well, toughest part of the job was lugging the parts and my tools down 4 flights of stairs, then back up again when I was done...

Took a coupla pics, this car was a few spaces away from mine. Somebody apparently pissed somebody else off lol.

Before. These look original. Rotors and pads were OEM parts.

Weird suspension on this thing. No four-link like ours. There's a big *** A-arm on the bottom and not much up top

She also has a traction control light that won't turn off. Scanned the module for it and came up with a code for "steering angle sender fault." So now I gotta figure out the **** that is and get a new one lol. Also needs a driver's side inner CV boot. I kept the front rotors, they appear to be drilled for 5x100 as well as 5x112. I'm going to measure them to be sure and if they are, they're up for grabs. They have about 50k miles on them but I'll give them up for whatever it costs to ship them.

Camber issues. Once I put the Eibachs in I'll get a new four-wheel alignment and that plus the increase in ride height up front will dramatically extend tire life. If it gets good enough I'll go back to 19s

Did some googling, turns out the steering angle sensor is in the steering wheel housing. I took it off (without knowing it) when I replaced her headlight switch. Just need to recalibrate it and I should be good!

sexy looking but not yours? girls tt?

i think 5x100 overlaps 5x112 thats why they can't make adaptor smaller than ~25-30mm
