Default Whining Noise coming from front Help

Hi

Guys This is making me crazy, have a whining noise coming from what I believe is front driver side, every time i hit gas it comes, it sounds in every gear, in N there's no whining sound. I thought it was a wheel bearing but there's no whining in N, if I accelerate engine in N there's no whining, checked diff oil level, it was low , so i filled it up, still same noise. Automatic trans oil level ok.
Here you can hear it..

Audi A4 B5
1.8 Automatic 01N. 4 speed

I had similar problem. It is a gasket that is leaking causing air to be sucked into the engine. In my case it was throttle body gasket. I recorded the noise and the mechanics were able to fix it.

Unfortunately noise is coming from front diff ): low on oil, any ideas on how to decrease noise... beside changing diff... oh no codes on engine or tranny.
