Hey Skip from Richmond - you may have just replaced mine a couple of weeks ago! Safelite did it and the new one actually fit better than the original. The OEM one had a bit of a gap on the drivers side. The new one seems perfect.
Sweet...do you live in Richmond??? I hope you got a good deal either way...I could have totally hooked you up.

Yep, I'm in Richmond. Thought I got a pretty good deal as it was. 225 installed. I'm driving a real plain looking silver 2000 A4 1.8tq. Running mbc with the diode mod and 18lbs of boost. Nothing fancy, but I love driving it! I'm in the west end. What are you driving?

I wouldn't know, your prices out in that area are way different than mine over here. Call the call center @ 800-800-ASAP and see what they tell ya.

@ oldgearhead

Too funny...I'm in the west end as well...I drive a black-ish A4 with the celebration(I think) wheels and tinted windows. That's it for now cuz i'm broke.

Here in New Joirsey, Safelite quoted about $445, so I tried the Audi dealership, where they quoted $390 for the windshield, plus $150 for installation, equals $540 total.

I guess for a hundred bucks more, I'll get the Audi rings emblem on the window ;-)
(Actually, I'd been expecting an even bigger shock, like $900, so now I feel better!)
